I joined the site about a month ago, became a gold member, and new to online dating. I read the help forums. Within weeks I found my match on this site. Her profile was the same to mine. We emailed each other a few times, I gave her my number, she called, then we scheduled a date, met half way from both and it was magic from that point on. My advice for success: be yourself, read the forums, and for guys think with your head that's not in your pants.

Our first date was Italian food followed by walking a couple of miles in the rain. We both knew there was interest, so we made arrangements for a nice dinner. After dinner and a trip to a comedy club, as I drove her home, I told her I enjoyed her company, and asked if she'd consider being exclusive with each other to see if a serious relationship would develop. She said yes. A couple of weeks later, and its clear that yes, we're going to have a serious, long-term relationship. It is a bit soon to say, but I think it quite possible that I've met the love of my life.

Well, I had come across his page and thought him to be very attractive. His location said Atlanta, but I thought to myself, a little hello and a compliment can't hurt. He had messaged me back, we exchanged a few messages and a few messages turned to us keeping in contact for 6 months (online through e-mails then eventually through text messages and phone). We corresponded twice and exchanged phone numbers. Spoke with her the next day & made arrangements to meet at a coffeeshop that evening. Met, talked several hours, made a date to get together and having been seeing each other ever since. A rarity (for me) in someone exchanging phone numbers in so short a time, but a number of women want to cut to the chase and get things going by talking over the phone, which I appreciate much more than a long, drawn-out email (something I won't do anymore. It seems there are some women - quite a few - who have no intention of ever talking on the phone or meeting. They're what I call email-junkies... just want a pen-pal. I found love. I really appreciate this site because it gave me the chance to meet others that are going through the same thing as me. I was recently diagnosed and was having a really hard time dealing with it. This site provided a way to meet and make friends as well as a loving relationship. This site helped me turn a negative situation into a positive one. For that I thank you.
