We met on PS and communicated for about 3 years. I was living and working in Africa at the time, and she was living and working in Alaska. The common thread was Florida. I would visit Florida when I was home from Africa and she had plans to someday hopefully move to Florida. So basically it was left at if she ever gets to Florida and I was there for a visit we would meet.
Well, she did move to Florida 2 years ago, and when I was home for a Christmas visit in 2017 / 18 we finally made the plans to meet.
We we had been communicating via PS, Facebook and Skype for many months leading up to meeting in Florida.
We enjoyed our time together and continue to communicate after I returned to Africa. We got together again in July when I was home visiting family in Chicago.
She came to Africa in August with family and friends of mine to experience Safari and all that Africa has to offer and we continued to see that the relationship was moving in a forward direction.
I made the decision to return to the United States in late 2018 and moved to Miami where she was so we could be together.
We were married in February of this year.
I guess you could say PS has been a positive experience for both of us, no pun intended.
Thanks for what you do!
I made many big changes in my life and wanted to date again after being married and recently divorced. I had heard horror stories about on line dating, so I prepared myself for the worst, and resigned myself to the dating equivalent of hiking out of the grand canyon with no water... Pure suffering in the midst of beauty just out of reach! To my great surprise, very soon after I signed up, I immediately connected with my Dream Girl. We had a great first date: sushi and a great conversation, and she is Gorgeous with a capital G! We had a really fun second date: french bistro brunch and a valentine's day symphony performance. On our third date we went out to a great dinner, laughed really hard at a comedy club show, and closed down the wine bar down the street, hand in hand at our table as the snow kept piling up in Downtown Denver, and we just stared in each others eyes as the flames of love sparked and grew. After several more dates, wonderful times, some great discussions, a home cooked dinner and desert, and a lot of romance, we are now on cloud 9. Our relationship has blossomed and we are planning a fabulous weekend getaway to the mountains to celebrate our good fortune of meeting each other. Thanks for helping us find each other! She's one in a million and I feel like the luckiest guy on the planet to have met her. I'm forever grateful! I couldn't have done it without you!
We’re amazing together .. we live far apart and are enjoying our long distance face time relationship with each other and we think it’s bull shit that we have to write an essay just to be able to delete a dating site profile account
I'm usually shy and quiet until you really get to know me. I tend to be too trusting and very sensitive so I am easily hurt. I'm very kind and loving and being loved back is the best thing in the world And I am very dedicated to those who are closest to me. I am passive and I generally do not like to lead but I am a loyal follower! I'm easy going and I avoid arguments and disagreements whenever possible
I found my husband thru this site. It took about 10 years of meeting different people but that doesn't even matter now. It was not love at first sight but he was worth the searching. We are compatible and in love. Our condition has never even been an issue. True love is possible. We are middle aged so it can happen for anyone. Good luck to everyone.
We've been together since December now and plan on moving in with each other in the near future.
I live in Niagara Falls and he lives in Toronto. We see each other frequently and face time everyday in between visits.
The first time we met, I didn't think he was the one, and a few years later when he wrote to say hello and happy holidays, I was excited and happy for some reason to hear from him. We wrote back and forth for a little over a month and met in person again (live in different states,so a long drive for him). This time we clicked so well, we both fell in love, and I am planning a trip to where he lives next month. I never thought I would feel this way again (adrenaline rush, unable to sleep excitement with butterflies) and was ready to give up, so the key is, like everything else in life, patience and persistence.
Because I found someone that genuinely makes me happy, and I was too retarded to see that at first but I see that now. We are a good team, and I feel like I will be extremely successful with her. She is super cute and very funny, somewhat unintelligent but we will get past that. Also, she is very pretty, she has a mustache sometimes because hair doesn't always do the trick. but hey, can't get everything. she is a pain in my ass but will encourage me to do better. I guess I just needed to open my dumbass eyeballs a little better. in conclusion, this site has nothing more to offer me.
I met an amazing girl who honestly turned out to be the best thing that happened to me. She was brave enough to message me and for the first time in my life I found a girl taking the lead and asking me out on a date.. so I went and the rest is history. We have a little one on the way in a few months so alot to look forward to :)
I just want you all to know that everything happens for a reason and I found mine.
Love you all x
We met after reading each others profiles, sending a couple of emails and texting for about a week.
we met at the state fair, spent 7 hours together and have spent every weekend together since, including a 12 day vacation.
We were both intrigued by each others profiles, traded a couple of emails, texted for about a week then met at the state fair. We are both somewhat introverted and we spent 7 hours together that day! We have been together every weekend since then and a 12 day vacation together. We both feel like we've won the lottery!
