I had been on the site for a quite a while and had what two successful long-term relationships from the site prior to meeting him. I was not the type to go "off site" and I never dated someone who wasn't "on the team". This site is the best place to meet other "similarly situated" people which takes so much of the stress out of it all. I would be lying if I didn't admit that I doubted at times that I would ever meet the right person, but patience, so my mother said, is a virture. I found the love of my life on Positive Singles!!! I found out about Positive Singles on tv when I watched Oprah a couple of years ago. The woman who spoke about this site had HIV and shared her story. I thought it sounded like a great website, and I'm so glad I foundout about it.

Although she doesn't like to admit it, she contacted me first. Otherwise we would never have met. Though she didn't send a message my ps account was contacted with a "this person is interested". I had pretty much given up on online dating due to one cross country failed experience. After viewing Jamie's pictures I was sure she was out of my league.
