So I didn't expect to meet someone so quickly, nor did I think of ever using the term "soulmate" in my vocabulary. I have always been the cynical one, never even considering looking outside my geographic area, dispelling dating services because someone is outside of my general area.
I started off with the usual 'winks' in my general area and then decided to expand my search a few hundred miles. I came across many profiles and photos that caught my interest and contained substance. I came across a profile that peeked my interest but my cynical side wasn't expecting much. Then we started chatting and conversations seemed to last the entire day, (8 hours) phone conversations, something that hasn't happened since I was in high school.

I was 69 and he was 68 in June 2013. I had been divorced 19 years and he four. I have been on the web site several years and he just two months with me being the second woman he had met from the site.
I usually looked within a 100 mile radius of where I lived because I didn’t want to get into a long distance relationship. But, that day like some other days I was bored and decided to get outside my comfort zone to see who was out there.
He said something on his profile that made me laugh, so I made a comment about it and we started chatting. We chatted on the site for a couple of weeks and then graduated to phone calls. During those weeks on the phone we learned a lot about each other and knew we wanted to meet.

My first relationship lasted a total about 7 months. We corresponded through email for about a couple weeks before deciding to meet up. We met at a bar on Rainey st in downtown Austin. From there on proceeded to dinner, and then attending a music festival together where we really hit things off. Unfortunately we ended things mutually agreeing we were in different pages in our lives, seeking different things.
I got back on PS, deciding to give being a gold member a shot. I messaged one guy for the first time in hopes he would respond, and he did immediately with a number and name. We met up that night after exchanging some texts. We met at Gibson bar in central Austin, again hitting things off we met up the next day, and have been hanging out almost everyday for the past 3 weeks.
