To anyone who is newly diagnosed with HSV and is stressing, feeling dirty and like their lives are over. Please stop worrying. I was 18 when someone knowingly passed this to me and yes I did feel like the world was ending. But after 28 years it no big deal. Everyone I’ve told has been super understanding. I’ve had plenty sex and a 20+ year relationship and 2 kids! It feels scary initially but honestly is a non issue with the right person. And after a few years the outbreaks stop. Take Hope! Xx

I’m guessing you’re a female and got lots of attention pre hsv? Your message is on point for females. It is definitely not the case for males. Online hetero dating app algorithms are designed around attractive females, with a large pool of males having to pay for the ability to message and compete for a much, much smaller pool of women. This site in particular, is an absolute ghost town for making connections. It preys on and monetizes stigma by design
