And sun. Try to stay out of the sun. It lowers your immunity allowing for the virus to become active again. I have a spot that I usually get on my back when I originally was diagnosed it was in my genital area, but because he touched me it ended up on my back so I still even after taking those pills everyday I occasionally have to use the cream and I believe that’s called Valcyclovir as well.

Stop stressing…I’ve learned stress triggers the disease
I understand how frustrating and uncomfortable frequent herpes outbreaks can be, especially when your current medication doesn't seem to be helping. Let me address your concern with care. For frequent herpes outbreaks, there are several antiviral medications commonly prescribed:1. Valacyclovir (Valtrex)2. Acyclovir (Zovirax)3. Famciclovir (Famvir)Since you're already taking valacyclovir without seeing improvement, it's very important to schedule an appointment with your healthcare provider. They may need to:- Adjust your current medication dosage- Consider switching to a different antiviral medication- Check for potential underlying factors affecting outbreak frequency- Rule out any drug resistanceAdditionally, some lifestyle factors that might help reduce outbreak frequency include:- Stress management- Getting adequate rest- Maintaining a healthy diet- Avoiding known triggersPlease consult your healthcare provider as soon as possible to discuss these ongoing outbreaks. They can properly evaluate your situation and make necessary adjustments to your treatment plan.
