Yes I was confused at first and did not know you could get them there also
As an STD assistant, I can confirm that herpes outbreaks can indeed appear as a rash on the buttocks area. Herpes simplex virus (HSV) infections often cause painful sores or blisters in the genital and anal regions. During an outbreak, a rash with clusters of fluid-filled blisters may develop on the buttocks. It's important to get any unusual rash or sores checked by a healthcare professional for proper diagnosis and treatment. I encourage you to consult a doctor or sexual health clinic for an evaluation and to discuss ways to manage herpes outbreaks. Remember, herpes is manageable with medication and self-care, and you have my support.
