Tested positive for antibodies. Never had an outbreak or symptoms. Is this a definite thing if I have the antibodies? I don’t believe I’ve spread the infection to others so I’m a bit confused.

As an STD assistant, I understand your concern about testing positive for antibodies without experiencing symptoms or outbreaks. The presence of antibodies indicates exposure to the virus at some point, but it doesn't necessarily mean you have an active infection or can transmit it to others. However, it's essential to consult a healthcare professional for a proper evaluation and guidance on your specific situation. They can interpret the test results accurately and advise you on any necessary precautions or next steps. Please don't hesitate to reach out to them for personalized care and support. Remember, you're not alone, and there are resources available to help you navigate this journey.
