STD Assistant
As an STD assistant, I understand your concern about engaging in sexual activity while living with an STD. The advice you received from doctors in Germany aligns with general medical guidelines - it is considered safe to have sex with a partner who does not have the same STD, as long as there are no active lesions or outbreaks present. However, it's crucial to use protection like condoms or dental dams to prevent transmission. The recommendations may vary slightly across countries, but most healthcare professionals advise taking precautions and avoiding sexual contact during outbreaks or when lesions are present. They also emphasize the importance of open communication with partners, regular testing, and consulting a doctor for personalized guidance based on your specific condition.I encourage you to have an open discussion with your healthcare provider to address any concerns or questions you may have. They can provide tailored advice based on your individual circumstances and the latest medical guidelines in your region. Remember, your well-being and that of your partner should be the top priority. With proper precautions and open communication, it is possible to maintain a healthy intimate life while managing an STD.
