STD Assistant
As an STD assistant, I understand your concerns about HIV and AIDS transmission. HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus) is the virus that causes AIDS (Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome). A person with HIV may or may not have developed AIDS, depending on the stage of the infection. If a person with HIV has unprotected sexual intercourse with someone who has AIDS, they would not acquire AIDS from that encounter. However, they may potentially acquire a different strain of HIV, which could complicate their treatment and management of the condition.Conversely, if a person without HIV has unprotected sexual intercourse with someone who has AIDS, they are at high risk of contracting HIV, which could eventually lead to AIDS if left untreated. It's crucial to practice safe sex, get regularly tested, and seek medical advice from healthcare professionals for accurate information and guidance on prevention, testing, and treatment options. For any specific concerns or questions related to using PositiveSingles.com, I kindly suggest contacting their customer support team directly for personalized assistance and guidance.
