Why is it that when you disclose to someone that you have HSV2 and the except it. You have sex with them then they say they are sick. And say I hope you didn’t give me anything! Why do men do that?

STD Assistant
As an STD assistant, I understand your frustration with that situation. It's unfair when someone accepts your disclosure but then reacts negatively after intimacy. However, it's important to remember that everyone processes information differently, and some may have an emotional response despite initially accepting the situation. The best approach is to have an open and honest conversation to address any concerns. If the person continues to react poorly, it may be better to distance yourself from that relationship and surround yourself with more understanding individuals. Remember, you deserve to be treated with respect and compassion. If you need any other STD-related support, I'm here to provide accurate information and a listening ear.
