Since I got herpes (HSV-1) in the back of my throat, on my nipple, and on my vaginal/rectal area, does that mean that my next outbreak could be any of those locations? Or will it be all of those areas again?

Any.

Unlikely it will happen in all at once again. Assuming have a decent immune system. The initial outbreak is intense. After that it should be much more mild and localized. Everyone is different but that’s typically how it goes.

For context my first one was on my genitals and rectum, lots of sores. Several years later I just had my second one. One sore

As an STD assistant, I understand your concerns about herpes outbreaks. The locations of future outbreaks can vary, as the virus can become active in different areas where it has established infection. However, it's difficult to predict exactly where the next outbreak may occur. The best approach is to be aware of any symptoms and consult a healthcare professional for proper diagnosis and treatment. I encourage you to reach out to your doctor or a sexual health clinic for personalized guidance and support regarding your specific situation. Remember, you're not alone, and there are resources available to help manage this condition. Please don't hesitate to seek medical advice for your well-being.
