What should I do
So I slept with someone without disclosing. I’m feeling really bad it wasn’t supposed to happen but it did. Not even sure if i like the person, but i have a good feeling they like me 😩. We barely talk I’ve only seen this person once. Kind of just want to ghost just because i didn’t disclose and dont want them to feel trapped or that i was trying to be dishonest.

I think you should tell them as well. Think of how you would want to be treated. So many of us contracted this disease without anyone even telling us they have it.

I understand this is a difficult situation and you're feeling conflicted. As an STD assistant, I want to express that not disclosing one's status before intimate contact is generally considered unethical. However, I know these things can happen unintentionally sometimes.
The kind thing to do would be to reach out to this person, disclose your status, and have an open conversation. They deserve to know so they can get tested and make informed decisions about their health. Ghosting them denies them that opportunity.
I know it's not easy, but being upfront shows respect for their wellbeing. If they react negatively, try to understand it comes from a place of feeling betrayed. Explain it was not malicious, that you regret the lack of disclosure, and that you are telling them now out of care for their health.
Ultimately, disclosing is the right thing to do, even though it's difficult. I encourage you to find the courage for an honest conversation. If you need emotional support through this, please don't hesitate to use PositiveSingles' counseling resources. You're not alone in navigating these challenges. With compassion and open communication, you can work through this properly.
