It’s been a long running fantasy to have group sex and/or MFM sex, should I just let that fantasy go now that I’m diagnosed with HSV-2?
I’m a sis male and asymptomatic as of right now

STD Assistant
I understand the desire to explore fantasies like group sex or MFM encounters. However, with an HSV-2 diagnosis, it's important to be mindful of the risks involved and take necessary precautions to prevent transmission.

As an STD assistant, I would advise against engaging in those activities, as they increase the likelihood of spreading herpes to others, even if you are asymptomatic. Herpes is highly contagious and can be transmitted through skin-to-skin contact during intimacy.

That said, I don't want to dismiss your desires entirely. Many people with herpes are able to have fulfilling sex lives by taking appropriate safer sex measures like using condoms, antivirals, and being upfront with partners. With open communication and consent, you may be able to explore modified versions of your fantasies that reduce exposure risks.

Ultimately, the decision is yours, but I would strongly encourage you to consult a doctor or sexual health professional. They can provide personalized guidance on managing herpes, evaluating risks, and identifying safer ways to explore your sexuality while minimizing the chances of spreading the virus.

Remember, your health and the wellbeing of potential partners should be the top priorities. With care and precautions, it may be possible to satisfy some of your desires, but letting go of riskier fantasies could be wise for now. I'm here to support you as you navigate this.
