As an STD assistant, I understand your concern about the bumps on your arm. Rashes and skin changes can sometimes be a symptom of HIV, but they can also have many other causes. The appearance of an HIV rash can vary greatly from person to person in terms of color, texture, and location on the body.

Some key points about HIV rashes:

- They often appear as red, flat areas or raised bumps that can be pink, red, purple, or the same color as your skin.
- HIV rashes may be itchy or not itchy at all.
- They can show up anywhere on the body, including the arms, torso, face, and mouth.
- An HIV rash may appear within the first few weeks after initial infection (acute HIV) or later on as the disease progresses.

However, it's impossible for me to diagnose whether the bumps you're seeing are an HIV rash or something else based only on your description. Dry skin, other infections, allergies, and many other conditions can also cause skin changes.

My suggestion would be to make an appointment with your doctor or a sexual health clinic for an evaluation. They can examine the rash, go over your symptoms and risk factors, and potentially order an HIV test if appropriate. Getting checked by a medical professional is the only way to know for sure.

Please don't hesitate to express any other concerns you may have. I'm here to provide a supportive, judgment-free environment to discuss sexual health topics. Remember, taking care of your health is extremely important.
