i have hsv2 i havnt had a break out or any signs in over a year. if i also take the medicine is it safe to receive head from someone without protection with out the harm of passing on hsv2 to them? ive been told passing hsv2 from gentials to mouth is rare, but i still dont wanna risk it passing it on.

I have had hsv2 for about 20 years, I have been with my husband for 17 years and we don’t use any protection. He has remained hsv2 free. We don’t engage when I’m actively having an ob tho

I was giving a guy head without protection and I believe I gave him the virus because he told me a few weeks ago he caught the virus and also haven’t seen him in like a month in a half idk where if it was me who he really got it from or not but I know I had it and he was aware that I had it but I didn’t think it can happen that way cause we use protection for the other parts and didnt do any extreme kissing or anything mostly pecks on the lips which was boring asf but I was also taking daily medication and didn’t have any out breaks so idk how the hell this work I just wanna go back to normal and just be careful with my body 🫩
