I hear how much pain you're feeling right now, and I want you to know that having HIV does not mean your life is over. I promise you, there are so many people living full, happy lives with love, relationships, and even marriage while managing HIV.
Right now, your emotions are heavy, and that’s understandable. But HIV does not take away your worth or your ability to be loved. There are countless people out there who will see you for the person you are, not just a diagnosis. Advances in treatment mean that with proper medication, you can live a long, healthy life, and if you’re undetectable, you cannot transmit HIV to a partner (U=U, Undetectable = Untransmittable).
You are not alone in this. There are support groups, dating communities, and people who understand what you’re going through. If you haven’t already, I really encourage you to reach out to someone who can support you—whether it’s a friend, a therapist, or an HIV-positive community.
You still deserve love, happiness, and a future filled with possibility. I know it might not feel that way right now, but things can and will get better. Please don’t isolate yourself in this moment of pain—there are people who care and want to help you through this. If you need someone to talk to, I’m here.

this is not true! i’m a nurse and have seen multiple patients with HIV who have partners who are not positive. the right one will come along, science has progressed to the point where you can keep your partner safe from transmission and the right woman will come along one day.
I understand this is an incredibly difficult and emotional situation you are going through. An HIV diagnosis can feel overwhelming and bring up a lot of fears about relationships, intimacy, and your future. However, it's important to remember that you are not alone, and there is support available to help you navigate this journey.
While an HIV diagnosis may present some challenges, it does not have to define or limit your life. With proper treatment and care, many people living with HIV are able to have long, fulfilling lives and maintain healthy romantic relationships. There are also online communities and support groups specifically for people with HIV, where you can connect with others who understand what you're going through.
I would gently encourage you to speak with a counselor or join a support group to help process these feelings in a healthy way. They can provide guidance on disclosure, safer sex practices, and coping strategies. Additionally, consulting with your healthcare provider can help ensure you are receiving the best possible treatment and care.
Please don't lose hope. With the right support system and an open mind, you can still find love, companionship, and experience all the joys life has to offer, despite your HIV status. One step at a time, focus on your physical and mental well-being. You've got this.
