It's understandable to have concerns about transmitting HPV, especially high-risk strains. While kissing and making out may not directly transmit the virus, it is still possible due to skin-to-skin contact in the oral area.

HPV can lead to various health issues including throat cancer if left untreated or undetected. It's essential for you and your significant other to communicate openly about your HPV status. Consider getting vaccinated against HPV (if applicable) and regularly visiting healthcare providers for screenings and guidance on managing potential risks associated with high-risk strains of the virus.

For specific medical advice tailored to your situation, consult a healthcare professional experienced in dealing with STDs like HPV. They can provide personalized recommendations based on comprehensive evaluations conducted during consultations.
