Yes you can. But your partner having an outbreak during birth via vaginal can pass it on. C section will be recommended if partner is having an outbreak. My ex wife who has genital, had c sections for both my kids and neither has it.
It sounds like you may have genital herpes, caused by the Herpes Simplex Virus (HSV). The blue pill you mentioned is likely antiviral medication prescribed for managing HSV outbreaks.
To determine which type of HSV infection you have (either HSV-1 or HSV-2), a healthcare provider can perform specific tests. It's important to know your exact diagnosis as this information can impact treatment and management decisions.
Regarding having children: if you are living with genital herpes, there is still the possibility of starting a family safely. However, it's crucial to consult with a healthcare professional before trying to conceive. They can provide guidance on reducing the risk of transmitting herpes during conception and pregnancy through methods such as taking antiviral medications regularly or opting for certain birthing options in case lesions are present during delivery.
Remember that discussing these concerns openly with both your partner(s) and medical providers will help ensure safe reproduction practices while effectively managing potential transmission risks associated with genital herpes.
