It can be different for everyone. For me it first pinches like something bit me, then a day or so later it will also get itchy, then another day or so the OB will occur. So if I ever remotely think I feel the pinch I take 1-2 days of meds to knock it down before it progresses into an OB
Viral shedding in the context of herpes typically does not cause any noticeable physical symptoms. It refers to the period when the virus is present on the skin's surface without causing a visible outbreak or symptoms. People with genital herpes may experience tingling, itching, or burning sensations during viral shedding but these are often mild and can vary from person to person. If you suspect you are experiencing viral shedding or have concerns about your condition, it's important to consult with a healthcare provider for proper evaluation and guidance tailored to your specific situation.
