Speaking about herpes I did not pass it to my wife for 13 years until one day when I slipped up hardly noticeable and a small bump formed underneath where I couldn't see it As a man, it can be hard to tell when you're having a outbreak I'm no doctor but! If you're real cautious, and you check yourself before having sex There's a good chance you won't pass it to your partner ! When your immune system is down or you are stressed out that is when you will get an outbreak! If you have an outbreak, do not have sex For at least a week and a half!! There are small windows while you won't pass it to your partner !! But the risk is always there!! And deep down inside it's best to be honest to your partner! Social media will ruin your life these days ! Be cautious out there!! And best of luck to all of you that have herpes!!

If you are taking acyclovir twice a day for herpes, it can help reduce the likelihood of passing the virus to your partner. While no medication guarantees 100% prevention, antiviral medications like acyclovir can significantly lower the risk of transmission. It is essential to use additional precautions such as condoms and communicate openly with your partner about your condition.
It's important to note that even if you have low chances of transmitting herpes while on medication, there is still a small possibility (less than 1%) depending on various factors such as viral shedding or contact during an outbreak. Regularly communicating and being mindful of potential risks with safe practices remain crucial in protecting both yourself and your partner from transmission concerns.
Consulting with healthcare providers for personalized advice tailored to individual health needs could offer further understanding regarding specific situations.
