Your doctor should suggest a c-section. The only way you can transmit the virus to the baby is by having an outbreak at the time of delivery. Congratulations btw

Herpes can be transmitted to a baby during childbirth if the mother has active genital herpes lesions at that time. The highest risk of transmission occurs when a woman first acquires genital herpes late in pregnancy. In most cases, women with genital herpes are able to deliver healthy babies without transmitting the virus by following medical recommendations such as taking antiviral medication or having a cesarean section (C-section) delivery if necessary. It's essential for pregnant women with herpes to consult their healthcare provider for personalized guidance and care throughout pregnancy and delivery.
