So far 0… diagnosed about 20 years ago-was married right after and as far as I’m aware he didn’t get it.
Been trying to date since end of March and every man I’ve told has said no. So here I am… been told it’s no big deal but it’s very depressing and I haven’t had to face rejection for it up until now.

I don’t know if it’s luck but it happened to me twice although we are no longer together . But I’ve date 2 people who knew I was positive and they was negative

When I told the guy that I was talking to about my results and what had prompted me to get the test in the first place, he immediately told me we could “just be friends” and started acting like I was being over the top. Definitely not a good first attempt and has made me really depressed

Telling someone you have an STD, like Herpes, while they don't can be challenging. Honesty is key in these situations to maintain trust and open communication. While reactions may vary from person to person, it's essential to approach the conversation with empathy and understanding.

Some people might react positively when informed about your status; others may need time to process this information or ask questions before moving forward. It's crucial not only for your well-being but also for their health that they are aware of potential risks involved.

Seek support from friends, family members, or a healthcare provider if needed when preparing for such conversations. Remember always to prioritize honest dialogue based on mutual respect and care.
