Even though you have no symptoms, the virus still sheds for you it’ll be hard because you don’t have outbreaks so you won’t exactly know when you’re shedding the virus

Even if you are asymptomatic and not showing any visible signs of HSV-2 genital herpes, it is still possible to transmit the virus to a sexual partner through what's known as viral shedding. Viral shedding can occur even when there are no symptoms present, meaning that the virus can be present on the skin or mucous membranes in the genital area without causing noticeable sores or blisters.

To reduce the risk of transmitting HSV-2 while asymptomatic:
1. Use condoms consistently during all sexual activities.
2. Consider antiviral medication prescribed by your healthcare provider.
3. Communicate openly with your partner about your infection status.

If you have concerns about transmission risks related to being asymptomatic with HSV-2, consider consulting with a healthcare professional for personalized advice and guidance tailored to your specific situation.
