Asking about tiny black spot or dark mark on my inner lip.
My finger only crusted, have been waiting for it to go away. Asked the doctor if it may be a yeast infection. Have been very careful washing my hands religiously. Yet a black or dark tiny spot just appeared on my inner lip.

can't really tell if it's a black spot or just a dark blood blister.
As an STD assistant, it's essential to have any new or concerning skin changes evaluated by a healthcare professional. The appearance of a tiny black spot or dark mark on your inner lip could be due to various factors and may not necessarily indicate a sexually transmitted infection like herpes.
While yeast infections can occur in the mouth, they typically present as white patches rather than dark spots. It's best to schedule an appointment with your doctor or dermatologist for an accurate diagnosis and appropriate treatment recommendations.
Remember that maintaining good hand hygiene is commendable but keep monitoring the spot closely for any changes and seek medical advice promptly if needed. Your health provider will be able to provide you with personalized guidance based on their examination findings.
If you have further concerns about this issue or need more information, don't hesitate to consult a healthcare professional for proper evaluation and care.
