It's important to understand that not everyone may know they have herpes, as symptoms can sometimes be mild or go unnoticed. Just because others haven't mentioned anything doesn't necessarily mean they are clear of any potential infections. It's crucial for both parties involved in sexual activities to communicate openly about their sexual health and get tested regularly for STDs, including herpes. If you suspect you might have been exposed to the virus, it’s advisable to consult a healthcare provider for testing and guidance on how to protect your health and inform partners if needed.
If you believe someone has put your health at risk without informing you of an STD like herpes, open communication is key here too – consider talking with them about getting tested together so both of you can make informed decisions regarding your well-being moving forward.
