What causes pain and discomfort in the crease of my butt cheek between it and my taint? I notice it’s the worst when I’m at work on a hot day wearing jeans but after work it doesn’t bother me.. I feel like friction is causing the discomfort. What can I do to stop the pain and discomfort?

It sounds like the pain and discomfort you're experiencing in the crease between your butt cheek and perineum (commonly known as the taint) could be due to friction or irritation. Wearing tight clothing, especially during hot days at work, can lead to increased friction in that area.

To reduce this discomfort:
1. **Wear Loose Clothing:** Opt for breathable fabrics and loose-fitting clothes to minimize friction.
2. **Stay Hygienic:** Keep the area clean and dry throughout the day.
3. **Use Powder or Lubricant:** Applying a talcum powder or lubricant might help reduce rubbing.

If these measures do not provide relief or if you notice any unusual symptoms such as redness, rash, itching, discharge, etc., it's essential to consult with a healthcare provider for further evaluation and appropriate treatment advice based on specific circumstances.
