How to control this virus??
So, the Health community rely on infected people to manage the spread of Herpes? Really? Most of us have been infected by partners who didnt know they had it as they were asymptomatic… because they were not tested on thr regular STI panel, we got infected… is the health and medical community responsibility to manage and reduce the spread of this virus… asymptomatic people keep passing this virus to people because they are not tested!! Their excuse: “does not cause major health issues”… what about the psychological damage? People getting into depression? The isolation, suicidal thoughts… is that nothing? Make it make sense!

By the way, here in the UK, HIV is part of the basic panel of tests you get FOR FREE: chlamydia, Ghonorrea, Hepatitis and HIV are the mandatory ones… Women will get a pap smear yearly FOR FREE where HPV is detected along with any cell changes which my lead to Cancer. And YES, I do my regular checking every 6
Months and/or every time I get a new partner… HIV included

Yes, If everyone would test regularly for STDs including HSV IgG blood test, just like HIV, anyone with antibodies would know they carry the virus so they would themselves disclose to new partners, (and allowing them to make a choice in be willing to have sex with a virus carrier)….avoiding spreading this virus, just cause “they didn’t know they had it”, especially asymptomatic carriers! And everyone should test themselves for STDs every time they have a new partner, no matter how many you get a year.. Condoms do motivate protect from everything… YES, you can test for Herpes even if you never had symptoms… your immune system will create antibodies the moment the virus enters your body, no need for symptoms… If you get symptoms, then the test done on the blister is a PCR one… educate yourselves guys!

I couldn’t agree more with this person, I get break outs often. It’s hard enough to find someone right, and now you’re limited.
