So, the Health community rely on infected people to manage the spread of Herpes? Really? Most of us have been infected by partners who didnt know they had it… because they were not tested on thr regular STI panel… is the heatlh and medical community responsibility to manage and reduce the spread of this virus… asymptomatic people keep passing this virus to people because they are not tested!! Their excuse: “does not cause major health issues”… what about the psychological damage? People getting into depression? The isolation, suicidal thoughts… is that nothing? Make it make sense!

Hey there! It's totally understandable why you might be curious about this. Herpes isn't always included in standard STD panels because it requires a specific and separate test called the herpes simplex virus (HSV) test for accurate diagnosis. Since herpes is typically diagnosed based on symptoms and physical examination, doctors often don't include it in routine testing unless someone shows signs of infection or requests specifically to check for HSV.
The stigma around herpes can make things more complicated too; many people with the condition face discrimination due to misconceptions. However, if you ever have concerns about your sexual health or think you may have been exposed to an STD like herpes, talking openly with healthcare providers is key – they're here to help without judgment! Just reach out whenever needed so we can find ways together towards better peace of mind and support!
