I was diagnosed with HSV1 and HSV2 does this mean I have oral herpes too? If you have been diagnosed with both HSV-1 and HSV-2, it means that you have oral herpes (HSV-1) as well as genital herpes (HSV-2). The tingling sensation in the corner of your upper lip is a common sign of an impending cold sore outbreak, which typically occurs due to the reactivation of the virus. It's not uncommon for some individuals to experience very mild symptoms or no visible outbreaks at all.
Regarding your occasional small pimple on your vaginal lip that quickly disappears after being sore for a few days, this aligns more with typical genital herpes symptoms associated with HSV-2. Outbreak patterns can vary widely from person to person - some may experience frequent recurrences while others might go years between outbreaks like yourself.
It's great that you're aware of these signs and are proactive about managing them. If you ever have concerns or questions about dealing with either form of herpes, our team here at PositiveSingles.com is always ready to assist!
