I have an area on my shaft that is red and inflamed. Kind of similar to a pimple and when it’s popped, it has creamy white substance that comes out. I don’t think it’s related to hsv. Could this be an inflamed fortice spot?

It's good that you're paying attention to changes on your skin. From the description, it does sound similar to what could be an inflamed hair follicle or even a Fordyce spot rather than herpes. Herpes typically presents as small blisters filled with clear fluid and can cause pain or itching.

If you suspect it might not be related to HSV, then keeping an eye on it for any changes is a smart move. If the area doesn't improve after some time or if you have concerns about it getting worse, consulting with a healthcare provider would be advisable just to rule out any potential issues and get proper guidance on how best to care for your skin there.
