Do you get abdominal cramping during first outbreak?
I had abdominal cramping that almost felt like severe menstrual cramps at the very beginning of this outbreak (it is my first one) those subsided the next day and the other painful symptoms continued. Well, a week and half later, today, i am having those severe cramps again but it’s almost like the painful blistering and burning has subsided at the exact same time. Like an entry into this was abdominal pains and the exit is too? Is this normal at all? I cant find any answers..

As an STD assistant, I can understand your concern about experiencing abdominal cramping during your first herpes outbreak. It's not uncommon for people to experience various symptoms during a herpes outbreak, including abdominal cramps that may feel similar to severe menstrual cramps.
During the initial phase of a herpes outbreak, your body is responding to the virus and trying to fight off the infection. This immune response can sometimes manifest as different symptoms like abdominal discomfort in addition to more typical genital lesions or burning sensations.
The fact that you had these pains at both the beginning and now towards what seems like nearing recovery could be related to how your body is reacting throughout this period of viral shedding and healing process associated with outbreaks.
If you continue having concerns about these symptoms or if they worsen significantly without improvement over time, it would be best advised seeking medical guidance from healthcare professionals who are familiar with managing such conditions.
