Sometimes love doesn’t arrive with fireworks. Sometimes it begins with a simple “hey.”When we first started texting, the conversation felt promising, but life happened. The messages slowed down, and eventually the silence settled in. I figured maybe we had just missed our chance.
A few days later, I went out of town, never expecting fate to have other plans. Standing in line to order food, I heard someone place the exact same order I was about to make.
