It took me a while to get back to dating after an abusive marriage and divorce, losing my job because having bruises made me “a bad role model” of a teacher, and finding out I was cheated on and was given hsv-2. Time went by and I was finally back to a good place in life, but with this and kids- dating was daunting… to say the least. Then I found Ryan who has been super supportive from the beginning. No judgement just positive vibes. Our first date, I accidentally hit him with a door, he forgave me 100 times but I still feel bad and I thought that was it. No way he’d ask me on another date. He did and many dates later we we’ve made it official. It just feels good to not have to worry anymore and it makes for a funny story.
