I've seen some women say that coffee dates are unoriginal and boring. They absolutely can be if you can't hold your end of the conversation for whatever reason. You know what else they are? Quick, and easy to leave when you finish your cup if it's not a great match and the chemistry isn't there. So while it isn't original and exciting, it is casual and relaxed, it can last as short or as long as it needs to, and you don't have to drive all the way across town to get there since there's always a half way. If we meet for coffee, and that's what I'll suggest, I promise you that if I'm not feeling it, I'll politely let you know. I don't ghost people, I don't just stop replying. You won't have to wonder, and I promise I won't be unkind about it. Consequently, I'd like to ask that you afford me the same courtesy. I hear women say all the time that they have to be careful with men because some of them go crazy and get angry, etc. I think if we were all a little more direct, and a little more polite, then guys who clearly need practice in being rejected would benefit from it, and potentially from meaningful feedback as well, rather than just wondering what went wrong. Society can improve rather than devolve - I believe that. Let's help make little differences along that path where we can. I use my burner number and block functions as a last resort, not a first. I have way more shit going on in my life to spend a moment more trying to convince a woman who isn't interested that she should be, and really, that's most guys I talk to amongst ourselves as well.

Coffee shop, pool hall, ice cream shop, museum, taco joint, Italian restaurant, bakery, or just any open public place that has chill/quiet environment and seating.
