Something casual where we can carry on a conversation, at least part of the time. We can do something adventurous too like a hike, a river float, or a haunted house. Otherwise, I'm open to try anything once. More than likely you are far enough away that a quick lunch or drink isn’t practical and someone will have to travel.

Lunch or dinner and a movie has always been a go to for me. Maybe a picnic if the weather permits. We live in the desert so it'd have to be in the spring or autumn ideally.

Something simple but intentional — grab coffee or a craft beer at a local spot, then wander around downtown or hit a scenic trail if the weather’s nice. I love dates where we can actually talk and laugh without yelling over loud music.
My perfect evening might look like: sunset hike in the Blue Ridge with good conversation, followed by grilling something together back at my place (or ordering takeout if we’re both wiped), then splitting a bottle of wine on the porch while the dogs run around. Zero pressure, lots of laughs, and real chemistry.
Bonus points if you’re down for spontaneity — random road trip to a vineyard, live music in a small venue, or just staying in cooking a new recipe while a playlist runs. I’m not into fancy restaurants or club scenes. I want to actually get to know you.
