Maybe just walking, or dinner and dancing. I actually like the idea of going dancing, let's see how we move to music together. Taking a leisurely stroll thru a park or mall (depends on the weather) and then going someplace to eat that we would both enjoy. I believe in some of the old ways such as,"The man should always pay". That I will never be able to change because of my country upbringing.

Take a walk along the Columbian River would have us out in public, but give us the time to talk and get to know each other. Then maybe stop for coffee or a cocktail. I am all about chemistry. That needs to be the one thing that is there. Yes becoming friend is also important, however if there is not chemistry then the relationship will not survive.

First date? hmmm . . . I think the best first date is one that is arrived at through texting or emailing for a little while and, in the process, a first date idea will easily come to mind. Usually, meeting for coffee and/or taking a walk has been a reliable option.
