Coffee, ice cream dates, walk in the park somewhere we could have a conversation and get to know each other

And if, by the end of the night, we're sitting on the couch, the movie is still playing somewhere in the background, we're laughing about something completely ridiculous and thinking, “Wait… when did it get this late?” …I think that would be a pretty perfect first date. ❤️

My Ideal First Date I know the stereotypical first date is dinner at a fancy restaurant, drinks at a rooftop bar, or walking around somewhere crowded and pretending we aren't both slightly nervous. 😄 But honestly? That’s probably not my ideal. My perfect first date would be somewhere I can actually be myself. Crowded places can make me feel a little claustrophobic, and I don't want our first meeting to be spent trying to look cool, composed and socially acceptable. Give me a cozy evening at home instead. Maybe we cook something together nothing too complicated, because watching us struggle with a recipe might actually be more entertaining than the movie. 😂 We put on some music, make ourselves comfortable, open a bottle of something we both enjoy, and just talk. Then maybe we end up on the couch, under a ridiculously cozy blanket, watching a favourite movie or getting hooked on a series we both promise we'll watch “just one episode” of. Spoiler: we won't stop at one. But honestly, the movie isn't really the point. I want those little moments in between the random conversations, laughing at stupid things, discovering each other's weird habits, comfortable silences, stealing the blanket from each other, and that moment when you suddenly realise you've been talking for three hours without noticing. I want a first date where neither of us has to perform. No pretending to be cooler than we are. No trying too hard to impress each other. Just two people feeling comfortable enough to be completely themselves. I like to keep a first date simple, cute, and free of pressure. We can grab some cafecito or ice cream, then walk and talk. If you have recommendations, feel free to share - I will travel for good coffee and noms! 😊

I think grabbing coffee for a first date is ideal, low pressure, easy to talk and get to know each other without expectations.

A flowing genuine conversation between exceptional meals and glasses of preferred drinks or a surprising activity that allows full expresssion of one’s true nature.

Anything with direct eye contact - let’s eat, take a walk somewhere nice, go to a museum, crash a party, drink tea or coffee, make some art, sit by the beach. Whatever it takes to feel like 2 humans sharing space.

First Date: Nature with coffee/matcha Sometime after: Museums/ Art exhibits or getting creative/ messy. Pottery class? Rage room? A necessary date at some point: long hike in the elements. I need to see your apocalypse skills.
