First date would be after the look see and we have decided that there is chemistry. we would probably go to Yoshi;s and have dinner and the go in the venue and listen to some live music . After the show we could walk along the estuary/pier and hold hands while we talk. That would be a nice first date i think.

Her preference and it depends on how near she lives to me. If some distance away, may have to travel, find accomodations, a motel, etc.. Any restaurant or event of her choosing is fine with me but preferably a quiet place where we can chat and where excessive walking or standing is not required.

On a first date I like to do something, like play 9 holes of golf, or go rollerblading, or walking, something that we can do together that allows us to observe the other person while talking about ourselves, a bit of a distraction to ease those first date jitters. One of my best first dates was with a lady that I knew was a skier, so we agreed to meet at a ski resort and go skiing for part of the day and then we went for dinner after skiing, it was great, lots of time to talk, but a nice distraction as well.
