An informal, relatively quiet setting where conversation is easy. We both wear running shoes, not to work out, but just in case one of us feels the need to make a fast exit...ha ha.!
And just going kayaking or for a walk not a bad way to meet either.

Meet at a coffee house or small,quiet cafe, where we could slowly get to know each other. Go to a nearby restaurant, enjoying the opportunity to enjoy each other’s company, hopefully feeling some chemistry, while getting a deeper understanding of each other. I'd love to go to a star party again. By that, I mean an all-night astronomical observation, in a remote area. Mind you, it's a fair commitment for a first date. The only other time I did it was in a gravel pit outside Merritt, BC - it was amazing.
