For our first date I think maybe meeting at the Elephant Bar for a nice lite meal would be nice. Or how about Old St Charles and the Lewis and Clark Restaraunt and then a walk Through Old St Charles. There are so many things to do in the St Louis area I'm sure we could come up with a really good idea that we would both like.

I would say a walk on the beach but their pretty crowded now as it is lol.........But I do live near the water in sunny south florida and meeting on the boardwalk is a nice change of pace,after that perhaps a seafood restaurant serving a great mojito.

I've decided that it shouldn't be called a first date as that puts to much pressure on me and you. I can certainly go to dinner or have a drink and see it as a meeting of two possible friends or future lovers and not call it a date, or take a weekend trip somewhere not to far away, after all we're suppose to be adults and I am a gentleman and we should be able to keep our hormones in control,(that is if there are any left (LOL), I'm sure just being together for any amount of time will answer all the questions we have and also some we didn't think of. Sometimes it takes time and a normal everyday situation to be relaxed enough to show the real person.

We could take a walk by the lake and maybe go fishing of off a dock nearby.I like catching walleys or pan fish.Otherwise we could go for a ride to go shopping at a mall in Virginia,Mn.and then out to eat .What ever he wants to do is fine with me.

I consider the first date to be the second time we get together. The first on is just a casual, informal meeting for coffee or a walk in a nice city park. This would be a less stressful encounter and it would be much more relaxed so "first impressions" are not strained...the real "first date" is a mutual pact and go from there...
