My ideal first date would be dinner at a nice restaurant or a thoughtfully planned outing we’d both enjoy. I’d love the chance to relax, share some laughs, and get to know each other through good conversation. For me, it’s about enjoying our time together and seeing whether there’s a connection we’d both like to explore.

This is a dating app. Coffee/drink first to see if we have chemistry.
Second date would be nice to eat somewhere casual, get some ice cream and go for a walk.

Maybe just a walk in the park or even quiet dinner or I would even consider a nice telephone conversation can also be a date

A quiet dinner where we can get to know each other and vibe. Maybe flirt a little if the vibe is there but definitely learning as much as we can about each other.

A themed date and what I mean is, I’ve been on a date a while ago and it was a Christmas theme date. I’ve been on a Star Wars and a Halloween theme date. They’re very fun.

The perfect date doesn’t exist lol. Let’s talk about some things we both enjoy and decide together. I love movies, but not as a date

My ideal date could be something as simple as grabbing coffee, exploring a museum, or enjoying a picnic at the park. I love good food, great conversation, and plenty of laughter. I enjoy being spontaneous just as much as I appreciate a thoughtfully planned date. It doesn’t have to be extravagant. For me, it’s about the chemistry, enjoying each other’s company, and having such a good time that neither of us wants the date to end.

Something relaxed and low-pressure where we can have a chat, have a laugh and see if we click in person. I do like a man who takes the initiative and makes a plan, but the first meet doesn’t need to be anything over complicated , just a chance to say hello and see if we’d like to get to know each other more.

I don’t have an ideal date. I like men to decide that. It doesn’t have to be dinner, it doesn’t have to be expensive. How would you like to take a couple hours and get to know me? In a comfortable environment for both of us.

I’m emotionally open, and ready for a connection if it happens but I’m not in a rush. I love spontaneous dates, genuine connections, great conversations, and simply enjoying someone’s company. I believe dating should be fun, exciting, and effortless—not filled with pressure or expectations. If friendship turns into chemistry and chemistry turns into love, even better! I’d rather let something beautiful develop naturally than force it. The way to my heart is to be my friend first, be a gentleman and be patient without assumptions. If you’re romantically interested then you have to make it as subtle as a sludge hammer otherwise it won’t usually register. I like to think that everyone is as friendly and warm as I am in person and on the phone and it’s platonic. I’m also not very good at communicating verbally that I’m interested. My communication style is different and my intentions are good. I never want to hurt anyone.
Just because I’m romantically interested in a man doesn’t mean I’ll reciprocate physical advances when I feel pressured. Pressure doesn’t have to be verbal. I can sense expectations through actions and behavior, and nothing kills attraction faster than feeling entitled to intimacy. And please, don’t invite me over to your house on the third date. Chemistry should develop naturally, not under pressure.
I once went on a date w a really cute guy—tall, successful, handsome, and genuinely nice. Unfortunately, he was so intimidated that he needed a little liquid courage. 3-4 glasses of wine later, he finally worked up the nerve to hold my hand. Sir, you skipped a few chapters! I need an emotional connection before we start holding hands. He reached out afterward, but I wasn’t interested. He checked a lot of boxes, but I was looking for a boyfriend, not a potential drinking problem.

One I don’t plan. Just tell me where to go, and I’ll show up. Ideal date is one that I don’t have to imagine or think about.

I’d love to start with a nice dinner, perhaps somewhere peaceful with good food and a beautiful atmosphere, followed by a walk where we can talk, learn about each other, and see if there’s a real connection.

Something that neither of us have done when meeting someone new. Simple and uncomplicated or novel and specific that we both come up with together.

I really believe it doesn’t matter as long as you’re with the right person it could be doing anything and it would be ideal. But a boat ride on, drinks in the cooler, dinner by the water at sunset would be a good start!

Let's start with a relaxed lunch in the city centre, then walk it off through Manchester's street art, indie shops and canal-side paths. Good food, easy conversation.
