My landlord told me she made a blind date meet her at Home Depot, because she needed to pickup some home improvement supplies.... which I thought was frickin hilarious. I love how some women get so indignant that someone would suggest to meet for coffee, because they are worth way more than that!! How dare you! Others have burned a lot of time on the first date & thus want the quickie first date which is what I tend to see as the most pragmatic approach. Having spent a fair amount of cabbage & time on unsuccessful first dates I think a low-exposure option is best... you know something like 'hey let's meet & have some tequila shots' or something like that. Seriously I'd just like to have a meet to see if the chemistry is there; a walk in the park or a glass of wine works. You'll probably want to checkout my bootie, and I'll be interested in how intelligent you are. ;) No I'm not interested in going sky-diving.

Picking a category is hard. All kinds of things are fun. Meeting for lunch or drinks or dinner. Going for a walk when the weather is nice; I live near a wooded trail in Rock Creek Park. If there's a special museum exhibit you want to see, I'm game.
Just something easy, that's all I ask. Nothing too fancy - the point is that we get acquainted, so something low key makes sense to me.
