I love creativity. Money is a priority when it comes to supporting a family, but I am a romantic when it comes to dates. I prefer something that's memorable over the typical dinner and movie that costs a ton now. For instance I love hiking, site seeing, camping...so on...

Usually I like to go for a drive somewhere and then walk around and see the sights. It's easy to have a conversation and get a sense of whether or not my date is interested in similar things (nature, ocean, music, movies, cool architecture, etc)

Honestly its been a long time since I've done this, but I would say a bite to eat and then site seeing, even if you've lived in NY for your whole life, there are always things to see. Also its gives us time to get to know each other more and talk. After that maybe catch a concert in the park or something.

Living this close to the ocean, I'd feel foolish if we didn't hit the beach. A cooler. Submarine sandwiches. Some kind of light american semi redneck beers. Suntan lotion and a BOOM box! an BOOM!!...um.... Probably should save that idea for a little later on the line..... yeah, we'll put that in the back pocket to hang on to for later. Your not ready for that just yet :) First Date: go out for lunch, dinner or drinks.... no one is reinventing the wheel here folks. I prefer a little booze in the mix, just because it's a first date and I know i"ll be nervous. and if you don't get nervous on first dates?... maybe your the Ice Queen I've been looking for. HA! ;)
