I let my lady pick when n where for the first date, but if she's adventurous enough to ask me to take her somewhere, I'd probably pick Jumping Off Rock. It's a view of Lake Jocassee like no other, and would probably make a good first impression. I know it did on me. Sunsets are spectacular out there...
I could take care of the cooking over a campfire, and bring some bubbly, some smoke, or we could stop at a place coming down the mountain.
Or if asphalt roads are more your style over gravel, I could take you north towards Saluda. Small towns always have the best food joints, and you never know what you'll find by way of entertainment.
If all else fails, I could take you to downtown Spartanburg, race you in some go carts and get you stumbling around at Delaney's.
Ladies choice.

I love being out in nature, whether it's a hike or looking at the stars. I love to explore new places but prefer to meet in public places before going anywhere secluded. First date I would prefer dinner somewhere and see how we vibe with each other, then go from there on.

Let's get crazy since no one reads this anyway. Let's talk for a week then if we both decide the other isn't crazy. We'll meet in Finland and stay in a glass igloo for a week watching the northern lights at night. It'll be the most intense first date ever. I'll sleep on the floor of course. The date starts with coffee and a introduction. We then travel to Newport for a whale watching cruise and drinks. We then end the night by either finding someplace for dinner or dancing or both. No matter what happens at least we can Both say we had a good time.

I just returned to Toronto and love taking in the sights, foods and adventures to be had in this city..we can meet for a walk on one of the boardwalks or downtown. I like open air events and picnics in summer..
