Take a motorcycle ride up or down the coast. For a day in Nappa or Santa Cruz. Or anything else that is fun. Maybe a ride up Mt. Tam, in Marin County. I am up for anything, except skydiving. Maybe one day, If you hold my hand. Museums are nice, maybe grab a bite to eat while out. Not much for the classic dinner date. Would much rather do something adventurous.

I don't have an ideal first date, but basically anything other than the basic dinner and a movie that allows me to get to know the other person.

I think we can both agree on some food and even doing something out of the comfort zone. Perhaps a drink to take a little off the edge. But not a necessary thing. I will definitely have something planned out.

Go someplace quiet so we can talk and get to know each other? Really? Who really does that on a first date? You want to talk first? Have things you want to know before we meet? I'd like to talk to you. Lets do email or a phone call. I think a first date should be lighthearted and fun. What do you like to do? Take me along and we'll enjoy it together. Want me to choose for us? I'll take a shot. We could ride go carts, or go roller skating, or put put golf. Have a casual lunch, have an ice cream. Yeah I said it, have some ice cream. We can go test drive a new car just for the fun of it. Take a kayak out on the lake. Do you prefer evenings? I like music, why not find a place with a live band, some good music and a pool table or some darts perhaps? I guess my point is have some fun. Talking will come on its own without the pressure of 50 questions. Well it's just my opinion, but tell me what you think.

I believe a good first date should not haveeither party in a commited space, meaning somewhere they feel uncomfortable leaving or being able to leave from. Not every date I have been on was the one. I was taught that a gentleman will see his decisions thru, so if we do agree on a place and meet. I will be the man I know myself to be and show you the respect you deserve for even coming.
I prefer not to drive the place or event but hope it can be deternined as an amicable setting. Do I like to eat, Yes and I do like great cuisine of varying ethnicity. Let's talk it thru and see where we end up.

Let's find some common interests and go from there. Brewpub for drinks and board games or meet for a quick adventure somewhere cool. A challenging hike or going paddling at sunset followed by drinks or dinner sounds pretty awesome!

Nothing too stiff, low-key places to get to know each other's preferences. Coffee/tea dates work. I am laid back in life and would like this experience to be the same. Come as you are and lets get to know each other!

First dates should be an endless amount of conversation. For two people who just met each other, there should be plenty to talk about. If the conversation goes dry or either are not interested, you should move on right then. A drink or two may help both parties open up and be honest. But the first date should be one where conversation is the priority.
