Dinner is an easy pick, but hard to chat with food in the mouth. I tend to favor going for a walk or drive to just learn about someone and by the end of that, if we want to continue the date then grab something to eat or drink. No need to make it difficult ... if you aren't feeling it, just say so and we move on.

Everything doesn't have to be so expensive though whatever and wherever someone invest their money into does say a lot. I'm teachable. I love a good experience. I like poetry, jazz, and relaxation. I say everything doesn't have to be expensive but I do require effort.

My first day would definitely have to be something where we can communicate a lot and just catch each other's energy and see if there's a vibe there. I don't like faking anything so communication is the best. I mean, I don't want to stuff my face on the first date Because good Lord God knows I like to eat, but something to eat. Coffee is always nice. I love the beach so just laying in the sand talking or walking.

I would like to meet you somewhere that's comfortable. A park...a quiet restaurant... botanical gardens...maybe a comedy show because I love to laugh. Somewhere that we can talk and and not be stressed about making an amazing first impression or having instant dreams of falling in love. I can be awkward and shy at times or be loud and bawdry. First dates can be brutal and I don't want any added stress for either of us.
I am also very touchy...not in the weird uncomfortable way. I like to hold hands or walk arm in arm...even on a first date if the feeling is mutual. I want to meet you where you are and expect the same. Make me laugh and we are off to a great start.
I cuss like a sailor but I love my God. I'm not religious. I'm more spiritual. I don't want to go to church for a first date...or really ever. I give and appreciate respect and common courtesy.
