Definitely chilling in Cherokee Park and walking Bardstown Rd. in Louisville... anything outdoors.

First date, really can be anything interesting and fun, and allows conversation. If distance is in the math, of course some planning would be needed. There are incredible places throughout the US, want to explore them? I have an incredible home, built it myself. Yeah, that was a little brag. Can be a perfect B & B getaway after enough conversation. Worse case, you gain a friend in NC if there is no chemistry. Yeah, I know we have to have chemistry, just kind of how we are built. Looking forward to meeting you.

So many options, taking my (and your?) dog for a walk/hike. Picnic on top of a mountain. Mountain biking in the desert. Or... dinner and a movie. I like intimate settings, dislike crowds. At the same time, can enjoy dancing at a live show (hip hop to folk). I'm a strange mix.

Coffee or drinks

We could talk and determine what is best.. my vote is lunch/dinner

Taking a leisurely walk along St Petersburg Waterfront or the beach. Perhaps stopping for lunch and a quick drink of some sort.

This will most likely happen deep in the warm, safe embrace of the suburbs. Walking, talking. Please be local, within reason.

My ideal first date is something casual and easy to see how the vibe is between us. Usually over coffee or an afternoon drink somewhere cool. Hopefully it's nice and we can go for a walk and get moving. If we are connecting, having fun and a great conversation hopefully we can go out again.

Somewhere on the quiet side so we can actually get to know one another a little bit.

The first meet should be carefree and simple. A nice walk on the beach where we could chat and relax.

Daytime first dates are the best way to go. I love nature's limitless supply & variety of plants The Fullerton Arboretum has metric f-tons of them (don't worry, I don't say "eff-tons" in private, so just pretend I said it as implied). We could walk around, talk our faces off, and enjoy the awesomeness of the expansive colorful outdoor setting. If you don't have much to say and I find myself carrying the conversation then it's no problem because we'll still have beautiful plants to admire together before we part ways. However, if we find ourselves playing well together and having some hardcore unabashed super happy fun then we could easily transition into a more serious date-ier setting. At this point the sky's the limit. We would already have a decent idea about where we want to head/do next if at least one of us has been paying attention to the words and various noises coming out of the other's mouth. Are you with me? I had you at Arboretum, didn't I? Yeah? Yes! Bonus points for me: I've never been stood up before, but if that were to actually happen...guess what? I'm at the Fullerton Mother-F-in Arboretum! I enjoy going alone too! You get to hide away and not tell me why you're gone and I get to have a day at the F.A! Everybody's a winner no matter how we slice it/crush it/cash it/uhh y'know, no matter how you look at it. That's it. Bonus points for you: If you live closer to the other place like this, you know, the one that charges an admission fee rather than a suggested donation I'll more than happily meet you there instead. It's the one in Pasadena. Name it and you win a....something. Something neat.

Could be walking Terry Hershey Park or Buffalo Bayou Park. Could be lunch or brunch. Could be museum (Museum of Fine Arts member) Could be going to rugby game (Sabrecats !!) Could be seeing movie or play or blues band in dive bar.

I'm writing to ask you out on a walking date. I propose we walk in a park and/or along the waterfront in Brooklyn, on a sunny weekend afternoon. We could get drinks to go, or even cups of soup to warm us up if it's cold outside. I'm intentionally writing this in an earnest and somewhat formal and robotic voice, as it is my first time using this feature on PS. I am trying to be humorous by excluding humor from my message. I do not think I have succeeded. All that said, let's go on a walking date!
