My fun date would have to deal with some Bowling , Go Carting, Billards playing or maybe a game of Putt-Putt. Then a bite to eat over a conversation of how i let you win! Lol

And ideal first date............ I think something active like a batting cage is a whole lot of fun. Maybe even throwing the football on the beach. However, chatting over dinner is always a wonderfully akward way to get started.

First dates are more about getting comfortabe with the woman you're with, or getting a feel for them, so it depends on the lady. Bowling isn't too strenuous, I suck at it but there's usually the option for beer and to make fun of others.. (Disclaimer- not into bowling or beer.. but hey- it's something to do).
Paintball could be fun- just have to be on the same sides 'cos it'd suck to go to work and have to explain how the hickeys from the first date weren't the "friendly kind".
Dinner and a movie isn't bad either.. I love to cook and have great taste in movies.. :^)

i believe a first date should be fun. it should be an ice breaker (racing go carts, mini golf, bowling, hitting balls at the batting cage, etc) this way there is no pressure for romance, both people are able to relax, have fun, smile, laugh, etc. afterwards, go for dinner and hope he asks me out for date 2. :)

I think a good first date might be getting together to play pool or darts somewhere,(as long as you are not blind!) haha! - or maybe spending a day fishing, you can get to know somebody pretty good when you are on the water together without alot of distractions.
