First date idea would be to meet for a coffee or tea. Second date ideas would be a sporting event, a walk/hike in Forest Park or bowling, just something simple and straight forward with no pressure so we could get to know one another a bit better.

I like the golf idea. I am not a very good golfer but I used to be. It is frustrating game and should be looked at as just a nice day to ride the golf cart, enjoy the weather, spend time getting to know each other, and laughing at how tough the game really is. If we connect after 9 or 18 holes of struggles then 1) that is a good sign and 2) we should then have dinner.
